Steering Rack Volvo 740/760/780/940/960

There are four different brands of steering racks used for these cars.

CamGear (CAM), TRW, ZF and Koyo.

Only for Koyo steering racks you also need new power steering hoses (RD9447888 en RD9191449A) to make the steering rack fit. Koyo was only mounted on a few 1993 and 1994 models of the 940.

With the product plate in the engine compartment you can find out which brand your car has.

The last number of the plate and then the last digit tells what brand steering rack you have:

1 = Koyo

2 = CAM

3 = ZF

4 = TRW
