This part is a lot cheaper than a genuine Volvo evaporator. However, the disadvantage is that this evaporator is not divisible. With the original evaporator, the pipes can come loose from the aluminum block, which results in a easier and more efficient install. With a genuine evaporator, the average working time is 3 hours.
With this aftermarket part, the average working time is 7 to 8 hours because the dashboard has to be disassembled.
