A piece of advice: 

Make sure to check the air thermostat at the air filter as well, this part is often the cause of the air mass sensor breakdown.

 

If the thermostat is also defective, hot air is permanently blown through the mass meter, causing it to fail. Therefore, if the air mass meter breaks due to the thermostat, no warranty is given.

 

Changing the air filter is also highly recommended.
