With B284 engine do not use the hose supplied but use the hose from the existing pump.
Inside the B284 fuel pump there is a regulator. When this regulator is broken and causes the fuel pump to go bad, then this repair kit is not the solution to the problem. A complete new fuel pump is the only fix.
